Jack Robinson

Twelve days before the end of term each classroom would inscribe the words JACK ROBINSON on the top of the blackboard. Supposedly the end of term would come before you could say Jack Robinson. Each day a letter was erased starting with the final "N". The artistic ones amongst us would decorate the letters with coloured chalk. A highly competitive exercise. We would check other classrooms to see if their efforts were as good as ours.
