Picnic with Miss 'Do' Davies 1940s

A Walk to Lake Cynnwch with 'Do' Davies after finishing exams. The girls are holding sphagnum moss which was used during the war. Pupils collected the moss and delivered it to Miss Nightingale's house in Cader Road (headmistress 1924-1940). The Red Cross used the moss to treat soldiers' wounds.
