The Dr Daniel Williams’ Educational Fund (Charity No. 525756)
The Fund was established after the closure and sale of DWS property.
The Fund is available to offer financial assistance to children (School Year 5 upwards) and young people (up to 25 years of age) living in the former county of Merioneth. The children/grandchildren of former pupils of Dr Williams School are also eligible to apply for assistance.
Applications for assistance can be made towards costs arising from
- educational activities e.g. instrumental, voice or theatre lessons,
- educational books,
- university fees,
- educational courses,
- equipment related to vocational courses and so on.
